About Us
Although the Greek word farmaki (φαρμάκι) sounds like pharmacy in English, it really means poison. Add an ‘o’ (farmakio) to the end of the word for the correct translation of pharmacy.
First Edition Translations Ltd is a professional translations company, based in the heart of Cambridge since 1981 and a Founder Corporate Member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting.
The company consists of a commercial and an editorial department. Both departments have a strong team of project managers who coordinate all aspects of the language project.
The commercial department offers translations of all types of documents and files including websites, promotional materials, user manuals, business cards and research papers.
